Presentado en estuche individual, se trata de un cava brut gran reserva de 2012 procedente de la finca Cols que ofrece una gama aromática compleja y endulzada por la larga crianza de 36 meses en rima y la fermentación del vino base en barricas de roble francés. Elaborado principalmente con la variedad chardonnay y fermentado en barricas de roble francés. Completa el vino una pequeña parte de pinot noir.

Presentado en estuche individual, Homenatge es un cava brut gran reserva de 2015 muy especial que lleva el nombre de la esposa del fundador de la bodega, Carles Sumarroca. El cava tiene la dedicatoria de los tres hijos a su madre: “Este es un homenaje a nuestra madre; el amor por la tierra es una constante en su vida”. El cava proviene de una parcela de xarelo de la finca Peretes seleccionada de entre todas nuestras parcelas por su gran calidad y personalidad.

Este cava brut gran reserva es muy especial. Lleva el nombre de la esposa del fundador de la bodega, Carles Sumarroca, y la dedicatoria de los tres hijos a su madre: “Es un homenaje a nuestra madre; el amor por la tierra es una constante en su vida”. El cava proviene de una parcela de xarelo de la finca Peretes seleccionada de entre todas las que tenemos de esta variedad. La selección se ha hecho de acuerdo con criterios de calidad elevada y de personalidad. El diseño de la botella, inspirado en las antiguas ánforas griegas, obtuvo un premio otorgado por Sumarroca y Adi-Fad en 2004.

A medium-intensity, straw yellow wine. In the nose, the initial notes are of Mediterranean herbs, such as fennel, and herb tea, like camomile. As it develops in the glass, touches of white fruit begin to emerge, enveloped in notes of bread and raw almonds from the ageing. In the mouth, the attack is quite creamy which, together with the fine structure, fill the mouth with notes of fruit and aromatic herbs. The balance between the acidity and the structure makes it possible to maintain these fresh, fruity notes into the final aftertaste
